How do I become a member?

How do I sign up for newsletters?

I want to send someone a gift membership. Where can I purchase one?
It's the gift that keeps on giving! Purchase a gift membership here.
Remember: Guardian tier members get one gift membership to give away. Visit advanced user settings to activate.
The person I sent a gift membership to never received a link telling them how to log in. What should I do?
They can sign in to their account here. Please let them know to use the same email address you entered into the system. After they enter their email address, they will then be emailed a link.
How do I cancel my membership?
Cancel your subscription via your account. Go here, and where it lists your current subscription level, click "Change." Then scroll down and click "Cancel subscription."
Is there a way to log in via a password, instead of having a a magic link emailed to me?
Not at this time. BTW, this method is very secure.
I just became a Defender or a Guardian! How do I get my name on the Wall of Fame?
Welcome aboard! We appreciate you so much!
You should have received an email titled "Thanks for becoming a member!" immediately after signing up. That email includes a link to a Google Form for share your address with us and whether your want to be added to the Wall of Fame.

I want a membership for my institution. Is that possible?
Yes! We can create an account that gives access to as many people as needed. Write to info@48hills.org with the number of people that need access to the institutional subscription, and we will send you a quote.
I want to upgrade to the Guardian membership. How do I do that?
If you're already a Defender, log in and go to "Plans". It's easy!
